Comparison shot

We have book club in an hour and a half, but I thought it'd be fun to do this every week:

On the left is Edsel the day we got him, and on the right is a week later. He gained three pounds, and if you look at this ears compared to the chair, he got a little taller too! Okay, see you at 7:00 for Little Womenses.

  1. I’m a loser. No women, little or otherwise for me tonight.
Can you put Edsel up against the door jamb and mark off his height with a pencil? Then you would have validation of his growth.

  2. I was also thinking he looked happier. His German Shepherd is showing more. You are going to have one really good looking dog there when he grows up. He is adorable now.
I am so glad you got him so you could take care of him and make him happy.
Talu, I think, is thanking you also.
Thanks Marvin, you’re a cool dude.
No little womens here either…..I haven’t read it ever…. I know, I know …where have I been, under a rock? I read a lot, but never little womenses.

  3. B, I hang my head in shame too, for I also have never read this classic. However, I’ll read the comments that probably will inspire me to pick the darn book up.
Thinking Edsel’s first collar should be bronzed.

  4. He DOES look way more confident and has filled out nicely! His face is very relaxed now compared to the first shot. Edsel hit the jackpot!
I read Little Womenses long, long ago. I did not want to re-read it. Sorry! I read some Oprah today! I still like that magazine! Do you, Junie?

  5. Oh, dying. I was doing book club (and cleaning the damn kitchen, is there ANY pot my husband didn’t use? Good creeping Christ) and popped over here and the thought of marking Edsel’s growth on other door jamb has me giggling hysterically.

I think Marvin needs a little something extra nice this week. Break out that Rush shirt, June.
