When a yard sale icon has a knife and fork on it does it mean they’ll be selling used food as well? Or “lightly used”? Or “well-loved”? Those sofas at Red Collection. Dang. How do they still keep finding such great stuff?
I LOVE that floral sofa! And also the other one with the weird faced bear things. But not the bear things, they were a bit creepy. Also, that cute dog’s mom? Does she fall a lot? Bad bruised up knees.
Damn, I had comments on each photo and now I am drawing a blank.
Love the SD and Edz sleeping picture. I can’t believe that SD is allowing Edz to lay all over his legs. Or is he awake and digging under Edz for a toy?
Isn’t that Napoleon Bonaparte? Not sure that I’d want a official portrait of me reading my mail. Here’s Cheech, Emperor of France, opening her Publisher’s Clearinghouse Sweepstakes. I hope that it’s portraying something more important than that.
That teddy lineup is going to haunt me with nightmares but I hope you have a delivery date for the pink studded couch! I’ve never seen anything like that before!
I like the teddy lineup and am imagining them lined up for either a class or to watch a movie. Or, more likely, someone is reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears to them.
But now a new person can love it! And every time the new person uses the china she can think about the woman who had it before and wonder what she might have served on that pretty china. It doesn’t make me sad, it makes me hopeful! It’s also entirely possible that I’m just a vintage china nerd.
If I had that pink sofa I would never be sad again.

Lu and Henry! Loved all the photos. Did you buy anything at the yard sale(s)? AA, you made me go back and look at that table.

Back away from the end table on the left hand side of that blue couch, it has my name written all over it.

Love this. The guy in the portrait totally looks like a relative of Mrs. Crawley’s drawing room portrait guy.

Good gravy, I hope you bought those sandals!
