I like cats

If a picture meows a thousand words

Work is kicking my azz lately (I started at 7:00 a.m. yesterday), and you’ll be stunned to hear cleaning up after seven kittens is a lot.

I haven’t had time to write, but I offer you kitten pictures to tide you over till I can speak normally again…

  1. SD looks like he’s thinking “I KNEW she was in that room getting some kitten strange. What’s the matter? Aren’t I good enough for you?” The outrage. Regardless of the fact that he’s out there getting mamma strange all the time.

Thanks for the kitty pictures. I get my kitten fix without the dirty litterbox or exorbitant cat food bill. Works for me.

Lovely post June. I hope work eases up soon.

  3. Work is kicking my azz, too. It’s spring. I just keep repeating to myself “Chin up, Buttercup!” Not sure if it’s working.
Mama cats always look utterly and completely exasperated – like they completely regret motherhood and wish they’d paid more attention in their sex ed classes.

    1. Texas Kari, thanks for the mental image of a class of bored kitties at their desks. My friend’s version of your mantra is “Suck it up, Buttercup!” And my dad’s was, “You can stand anything for (insert appropriate length of tme)!” Two weeks, six months…

  4. Awww. These warm my heart! I love that one of SD. I agree, he will find a way to get in there somehow.

    Lovely post, lovely June!

  5. I am so not a cat person. No, no, never. I don’t understand them and part of me is a bit afraid of them. But I am in love with these kittens. And I love that you are sharing their kittenhood with us. They couldn’t have found a better foster mom. You’re like an improved Kathy Lee Gifford with her “Cody, Cody, Cody, listen to what Cody did last night.”

  10. Which commenter said you should sneak one into work in your shirt, then said THEY would sneak one into work in their shirt? I still giggle at that. Peels out of driveway! Hee!
